Hi everyone,
I was so excited to share my news im still on cloud nine. Today I started walking and the first 1/2 mile I thought this is going to kill me but I looked at how far I had to go and thought I can do it ive walked this far already so I made it to my goal of 1 mile. I did it in 18 min I dont know if thats a good time or not but I was so excited about doing the mile the time didnt bother me. I wanted to share my excitement with you and tell you if I can do it you can do it. You can look at it like this the glass is either half full or half empty and if your half way there then why not make it full.
Thanks all for your great support.

Great success story. Most people would walk a 20 minute mile. Eventually you will see a 15 min mile then 12 etc etc. You will see yourself running it! Stay on track.

steph47715 kick'n! You're doing great! When I used to work I had a fitness center at work and every day at lunch I'd go walk on the treadmill 'till my lunch was up.
Keep doing what you're doing and one of these days you'll just decide you can start jogging instead of walking and you will.
Take it easy when you start jogging though. Do it pretty slow to start out with and I was doing like 3 minutes jogging and walking 5 minutes. At least that was easier on me. Not sure if it's that way with everyone. hehe
You're doing awesome! Cyber shots on me! teehee! ;)

neov3 I'm trying to get built up to where I can do stuff like that. My boyfriend is really really into biking and likes to do the MS 150 and stuff like that. He used to ride 15-35 miles with no problem. I can make it about 10 miles on the bike in the fitness center 'fore my legs start getting so tired I just can't do it. hehehe I'll just have to build up to it.
We used to ride and walk at Riverside Park in Tulsa. They have the BEST biking/walking trails all around the river. I miss that about Tulsa.
