I joined a gym on 1/4/03, I go 4 days a week. I need to lose AT LEAST 50 pounds. I do Treadmill and machines on those days and walk or treadmill on the other three days. I belong to Weight Watchers and use the "higher protein" diet with them. I have lost NO weight and NO inches. What in the world am I doing wrong? I treadmill 10 minutes at 3mph, no incline before the machines, work all large muscles on machines for about 30 minutes, another 25 minutes on the treadmill at 3mph at 3 inclinse after machines. Please any help out there???

Well it took me 5 weeks before i started losing weight. They say that it takes 6 weeks before you start to see results. Watch your portion size and eat small meals. Don't over do it. Remember muscle weights more than fat. Inside you are losing, your body is converting and you will eventually see a drop. Oh and if you are doing weight tranning, i suggest you work on cardio and less on weights.. I have done that and that's when i saw the weight drop. When you are building muscle you may even see and increase in weight.. I did untill i weight trained only 2 to 3 times week.

It has been just over a month give it some more time. Also hit the weights just as hard as you are the cardio. One thing about weightloss the more muscle you have or get the more fat gets burned.

I am doing weights but not free weights, just the weight I was told to use by the personal trainer during my first week. Even though I am as much overweight as I am, my body is still "fairly" firm considering.

I drink "at least" a gallon of water every day!!! Sugar is sometimes very difficult but I try to chew sugarless gum. I hope I start seeing changes soon, I get discouraged very easy and I am very excited about exercising again.

I found HIIT at http://www.musclemedia.com/training/hiit.asp, the link that was there in the past had magazine in it but I found it. I printed it out. I think I will try starting this at home tonight. Should I do this every day? That's what it sounds like.
