But kat, what are you looking for? You want an exercise or nutition program? You're a little bit too young to worry about those things....
Maybe you should try telling a little bit more about yourself and we'll know better how to guide you.
Good luck.

Are you not happy with your body? That weight can be the right weight for your body type and height. If you want to start a program, talk to your parents about seeing a nutritionist or about joining a sport you enjoy. Let us know what you are looking for so we can help :D

Okay...let's start over. Do you exercise now (i.e. cardio, lift weights, etc.)? How's your diet (i.e. do you eat junk food)? Do you currently take any supplements, multivitamins, etc.?

I don't know if your a guy or girl cuz your profile don't say but if your a boy I would suggest you hold off training till your like 15. The body needs all the testosterone to make you grow. If you workout its gona be spending that testo repairing muscles. If you want to loose weight just eat less junk food and play ungodly amounts of basketball. I use to play basketball for hours and hours a day and no matter how much I ate I never got over weight. I am trying to loose weight now too and it killed me to stop eating my normal foods. What I did was call myself a fatty all the time and had my friends call me names. That got me really mad, so mad I stoped eating junk and hit the gym. Sometimes anger is a good thing :)

According to a study by the American Academy of Pediatrics, supervised training with light weights does not pose a threat to youngsters. In fact, many believe it can help a person's health and self-esteem.BUT, doing too much too soon can lead to serious injuries. When kids hit puberty, they can start working with more weight.Just take it nice and easy until then. A study (by the American Academy of Pediatrics) says teens should not try lifting the greatest possible amount of weight until they are fully mature, average age for development maturity is 15 for both sexes. A younger person can begin limited weight training before that time. ONLY WITH SUPERVISION of a knowledgeable person. Kat do you have someone to supervise you????

kat how tall are you and why do you feel you need to lose weight? You are so young to be overly concerned about this. I think being interested in an exercise program is wonderful. I started about your age. It is great for your self esteem. Don't woory about your scale weight right now. Just eat good, limit the junk food that is so available. Enlist your moms help in eating right and don't worry about your weight. Eating well, drink lots of water (no soda/pop!) and taking a multi vitamin/mineral will help you feel good lots of energy and help your skin stay healthy too. Feel free to ask questions!
