i don't get SEATED TWISTS

Hi All
Could someone please explain to me more in depth of what seated twists are? There's an explanation (but no picture) of it on here but I really am not sure what it means to do. So if someone could explain that would great!

hmm.. wat about twists using the medball?.. say a 5kg ball?.. i sometimes think i dont feel anything at my abs, but my arms do get tired lifting the ball from side to side...

You are burning calories, plain and simple. The trick to doing them if you want to is to have your butt FIRMLY planted along with feet in position where it does not move. Now, twist from just the waist, nothing else moves.
