After 8 months of no lifting due to multiple fractures and sprains in my wrist, it has finally healed enough that I can lift again. I am so happy that I want to cry (not literally... that wouldn't be very manly. Hehe.)

I am so pumped! I have already started back into a smaller version of my old routine. I am actually quite surprised at how much strength I have retained after such a large amount of time off. I think it was because I still kept in shape and ate right.

I am so happy! Overjoyed! I live for weightlifting. Its my favorite thing to do. Everyday for the last several months all I could think about was "when can I lift again?"... And that day is finally here.

*Dances insanely around the office, other employees stare*

I have patched up my diet about a month ago (I didn’t stay that true during the months... though I wasn't too bad), and started some small training just to prep my body for the initial shock of HOLY CRAP I REMEMBER DOING THIS STUFF...

But now its official, I can do about 90% of the workouts I used to be able to do, excluding the ones that are wrist intensive like forearm curls, pull-ups, etc... But those will come in the following weeks. And obviously I am not as strong as I once was, nor do I have the endurance I used too.

But that doesn't matter, it all will come back in time. I plan to join the WHC sometime this or next month (I want to do some training at home) and that’s when I am going to start using my supplements when I join (I want to use them when I working out at my full potential), though I have begun taking the whey to increase my protein.

Its such a relief to be able to do it again... But let my experience teach everyone; it’s important to be smart when you hurt yourself. Make sure to get it checked on, x-rayed and put in a cast! And don't ever give up hope, as time heals all wounds...

- Its never about how much you can lift, or how many reps you do. Its just about doing it, and doing it right.

Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.
