I am 5'10 171 pounds..lifting weights since 2 yrs,but since the last 9-10 months ,my poundage has come to a standstill and that to a level which sucks(bench press max of 100 pounds(olympic bar). There are guys half my age and size lifting the same as me..What do i do?Will lifting same wieghts day in and day out affect growth?Should i have more carbs.NOW it is 1:1 protein carbs.

What does your workout look like now?...the most likely culprit is either overtraining or lack of change...so in order to help you...it would help us to know what you do now. I could say easily...go for 5x5...but if that's what you do now it won't help you...I hope that made sense lol...

Usually the #1 way to break through a "standstill" is to change up your workout routine. Take a step back and look at how you are eating as well...enough protien? vitamins? Enough calories? How consistant are your workout? Look through some of the back-posts on people with your same dilemma and look for responses from the FT moderators. After 9-10 months something's got to change. Good Luck.
