I'm new to the site and have been reading over the posts and am soo confused. I'm 24 years old, 5'5 and about 110lbs. A few years ago I never thought twice about what I ate, I was skinny and actually had a problem gaining weight. Went off to University, came back 10lbs heavier and its all gone to my belly. I don't understand it, for the most part I am a small girl..except my stomach and love handles are brutal! I don't know what to do.
I have a 2 week trip to jamaica coming up in Dec and am soo stressed out..I need to lose the stomach by Dec 20!
I have joined the gym, do about 30 min cardio 5x a week, and do weight machines daily alternating upper/lower 3x a week.
I've cut out bad carbs and only eat whole grains..my diet is:
oatmeal & yogurt (breakfast)
8 glasses water
green tea
chicken/ salad (lunch)
salmon (dinner)
What else can I do? Also I am switching to weights in the morning and then doing cardio in the pm (will try to do HIIT.)
Do you think I will be able to lose the weight..should I do something else..different?
