Hi, I go to college and I don't want to sit in my room all day. I lost 90 lbs by working out a lot. I want to lose about 15 more pounds. I usually lift for an hour in the morning, and a cardio workout at night. Is it possible to lift at night again? My friends say that it slows progress to lift too much. Are there any alternatives to running and lifting? Thanks.
Yeah your friend is right. Unless you are like a pro and been doing this for 10 years or more that kind of workout will onyl lead to overtraining. Just keep up what you are doing and it should be ok.
-------------- IF YOU CAN STILL ITCH YOUR NOSE AFTER ARM DAY, GO DO ANOTHER SET!!!
Is it possible? Of course it's possible. You could workout all day if you wanted. Is it optimal to lift twice a day? Not unless you're on a lot of roids. You won't be doing yourself any good by working out more.
