so I have been doing the ft routine and my diet is much better...I can see huge improvements in my upper body; however, nothing seems to be changing down south. How long will it take until I see results there?

I have been at it now for almost a year, while my waistline shrank, it didn't happen overnight. And I stll haven't had a glimpse of the elusive Abs I do however sense that they are close though. Regret to tell you that from what I have read and experienced this is the last area to shape up as it were. I have also read that 99% of this will ultimately come from correct eating habits.

nerraw, you hit it buddy! Diet determines what you get out of your time in the gym. It is not "diet" in that sense of the word, it is your eating to make the most of what you are doing in the gym. For instance, you can never tap into your fat stores without creating a caloric deficit. I.E...taking in less than you use.
