I'm not sure!

In September, I weighed 142lbs and I am 5'4.5 (Not sure if this means Im 5'4 or 5'5)

Anyways, today I am at 129/130lbs, So I have lost approximately 12-13lbs in 4 months. I have stopped eating fast food and have cut my portions (I had a pretty big appetite - I think I started eating up to 3500 calories a DAY from McCrap). In high school, 3 years ago, I was about 125lbs.

I eat approximately 4-5 small meals throughout the day, but heavy on the rice because that's just the way my family is.

Is this information helpful? I'm not sure how to judge it.

I forgot to add, my calorie intake is about 1200-1600 per day, and I am awfully sedentary!

If you can gain weight very quickly, chances are you have a slower metabolism. On the other hand, if you can eat like a horse and never gain weight so to speak, chances are you have a faster metabolic rate.

You did a great thing by taking out the fast foods out of your diet. The smaller meals is great. Youre still young so watch out for that heavy eating of rice especially if its white rice...but good for you. FOR SURE YOUR METABOLISM IS FAST!!! dont we that have a slow one wish we were YOU :)
