Hey, everyone! I just started this program, and i would like some tips and advice on weight loss. If you know what is a sure, fast way to lose weight please tell me. I want to lose weight before summer, i want to look good in a bikini... THANX!!!:love:

Welcome to FT! Best way to start is to start...start cutting back on the worthless calories until you can cut them out as much as possible, start exercises even if it means walking first before you run, start smiling because you know that you are on your way to a healthy way of life!

Thank you for answering; i really appreciate it. I am pretty active; i love rollerblading with my friends. I smile a lot so that's no problem. the problem is that i love to snack on chips, ice cream, cookies, well, junkfood... i tried to stop snacking on junkfood but it's been bothering me...
Do you think if i will be rollerblading 45 minutes 4 times a week and watch my diet i will be able to lose weight before summer?:) Please reply... Thanks:big_smile:

ok first off - find you some good snack food - carrot sticks, yogurt, apples, celery with peanut butter - since you are used to snacking -- main thing is to have them on hand (if you are doing carrot sticks - precut them have them ready so you don't have the excuse of not wanting to fix it when your snack tooth hits)
rollerblading is a great cardio workout
as long as you burn more calories that you bring in you will lose wieght - just add lifting so you don't lose muscle
