HI,
I have been involved with bodybuilding for 15 years now. I have just completed my 7th contest, recently, the Nevada State Bodybuilding Championships. I placed third, there were some big girls there. My problem is my legs werent lean enough. What do I do? I need help! Please.
Thanks Julezz69

Competing for that long, you probably know more than me, but diet is the only way. You can't spot reduce your body.

It's the darn hormones julezz, we just have to face it.
I'm fighting against the same problem as you and I sure don't want to give up.
Diet, cardio and loooots of leg work out.

Sorry about reposting again, I was to quick to post, but I want to see what Julezz looks like after training for 15 years, that is something to be very very proud of!

Running can make your legs leaner yes, endurance sport seems to do that. The legs of sprinters are different thou and bigger than the legs of marathoniens (working the muscle and its fibres differently).

But I'm not saying that as a BB you should completely avoid running 'cause that's not true. Running is great cardio but as long as you are not preparing yourself for a marathon, your legs should be okey.

Now julezz, where are you?!!

Hi Julezz,
I am running into the same problem! I am doing my nxt bb show n Sept.. I really have to lean my legs. I naturally have muscular legs. What I plan to do is higher reps, lower the weight. 15-20 reps. I'm use to heavy weight less reps in my leg workouts. I'm also going to be stricter on my precontest diet. Instead of 8 weeks out, I'm gonna start 10 weeks.Good Luck
