You have to eat to keep your metabolism burning high....... Which means that if you don't eat more calories than you use, you'll loose fat.
You just need to find out how many calories you need. Go to the FT nutrition and put in some data.

Luck to you.

I guess that depends on your goal. You can eat 5-7 meals per day, and if you keep it "clean" you can actually lose weight so that the 6-pack can come out (of course, you'll need to couple that with cardio and weight training)! If your goal is to gain muscle mass, you still need to eat a lot, but can consume food with higher calories. It's all about the calories...the general rule is, as Nina pointed out, if you burn more than you consume, you'll lose weight and vice-versa.

Good luck!

It truly is amazing what eating 5-7 times a day can do. Dare I say, REVOLUTIONARY! I can't believe the difference it has made. I have gained about 9 pounds of mass in 2 months and for the first time in my life can see abs....

Brandin, it IS possible that you have grown accustomed to very small meals, but I don't know why have a smaller stomach would matter if your meals are hours apart and you become hungry. Are you hungry? What are you eating later in the day?

I will often run out of steam in the evening too. What i do is cook a load of chicken breasts on Sunday night, and eat those (1 or more) when I am not TOO hungry. Or get some deli meat (turkey or lean beef) and rolls 3-4 slices up with a fat free slice of cheese and a peice of bread. Or, there is always 5 scrambled egg whites.... give some of them a try.

No, thats the problem, I am NEVER hungry, my step-mom says that I totally killed my stomach during wrestling season dropping 10-15 pounds a week to make weight, and gaining it all back on the weekend and then loosing it again, she thinks I should only eat 1 meal a day. I will also try some of those ideas, Thanks.

Man, that is a problem. I restled 112 in high school for 2 years. I lived much different back then and I didn't at all care about eating right, often, or anything diet related. I commend you for looking into all of this at the age of 15.

I would just keep trying to eat, sooner or later your appetite will pick up. However, if you plan on starving yourself regularly to drop weight, then I would get used to this being a re-occuring cyclical problem.

There is unfortunately for some, no substitute for good clean food. Just have simple, prepared snacks/food handy...
