ya i been reading all your posts and ive decided to make a new routine basically im just going to work out on
mondays wensdays and fridays as for weights
but on tuesdays and thursday im going to do a sepearte day wher ei just do H.I.T Cardio
ok basically heres a list of things i can do and was wondering the best one of choice you guys think..
Skipping rope - skipping for 2 mins or something(countin jumps) break for 30 sec ( walk round room ) then repeat and do like that 8 or so times and do it more and more as i go along..
or
Sprint // Hill - where i run up a hill as fast as i can and time myself.. then just slowly walk down that hill i got a hill outside my house must be about a km long which is about 2 3rds of a mile.. so i can run up that or half it or something then just walk down..or..
jumping rope - where i lay a rope or something on ground then just jump side to side of it countin jumps n stuff but do it for 2minutes then berak 30sec walking round room then repeat..
or some other form ?? my BIKE machine i forget what u guys call em but yeah it recently broke :( lol so i gotta get something different new or something in mentime what out of top u guys think i should do or is best??
if u have something else in mind as a form of H.I.T cardio for me anything advice be good..
also i aint quite sure what happens to your body with H.I.T cardio but after i my weights days i usually have now a whey powder mix with water then bout 40min after have some simple carbs and lean protien.. should i do the same with after my hit cardio sessions or not? i mean like i kinda have hit cardio sessions at work like i mite dig for 20min then break..5 or so min then repeat for like an hour or 2 or more sometimes lol so ya advice be alsome thnx - tim

Your post HIIT meal should mirror your goals. If for instance you are very lean, and want to save muscle, then surely the need to get out of a catabolic state is first and foremost. (you will have to be the judge of your energy expenditure...some HIIT sessions can rival a workout as it has a high anerobic component to it if you really hit it hard). So, a simple carb/protein "meal" would be great. (liquid here, and follow it up with your next regular scheduled meal). I would make it about 1/2 or so of your normal pwo meal. If on the other hand you have alot of fat to lose, you may want to follow it up with a high protein, fiber, fat "meal". (this meal can be liquid, like protein, flax meal or oil...I like meal here for more fiber). This will not impact blood sugars in any way and help keep any fat burning you have achieved from your HIIT session more intact.

Any HIIT type cardio is fine. Everyone has their favorite. The best one is the one you can go full bore for the longest period of time. Sprinting is a good one for instance on a track outdoors. I would do different ones, each will work in a different manner and help vary things up and keep the body guessing. This is key as with the weights.
If you are trying to lose fat very hard, then a tuna sandwich(use whole grain bread) and salad would be good. I would try to get in some type of oily dressing(olive oil would be a good choice, and blend in a bit of flax).
