can anybody recommend any good calves exercise that i can do at my house without having to go to the gym any advise appreciated....thanx

You can use stairs in the house toe raises at the edge of the stairs will help your calves.

Another good excercise is to do reverse calf raises. instead of putting your toes on the step and lowering your heels and raising them put your heals on the step and raise and lower your toes. this will work the front part of your legs and will help your overall leg shape.

Amenazaomar...Its not because nobody wanted to answer your question, I believe that the boards here are very quiet on the weekends. Feel free to post anytime but have patients or is it patience?

Do you have dumbbells? If so, one legged raises will work well. Cross one leg behind the opposite calf, and hold a dumbbell with that hand. Now, raise up to your toes and and back down for reps, not all the way to the floor. Great pumping exercise.
