L-Glutamine is excellent. I prefer 10 gr. before training and 15 gr. immediately post workout. Along with protein per your bodyweight, and creatine mixed with a high glycemic carb. This is a very powerful post workout elixir that actually works, increases blood sugar levels, which causes insulin secretion, which is the most anabolic hormone in the body and drives nutrients directly into screaming muscle tissue. Some of this is up for debate, the insulin raising thing, but I find it to be ultimate. Use what nature has given us. This can be backed by scientific evidence.
