Try tuna, peanuts would be just fine, fruits and vegetables are vital!!!!

Tuna? I am interested in increasing calorie intake, not protein intake. I am looking for more of a high-calorie snack food that I can easily eat on the go. Does anyone on FT have the problem of fulfilling their daily calorie goals?

Beef, I know your problem since I am in the same boat. I consume anywhere from 3600-3800 cals a day. My weight barley increases and I am sure that it's because I need to up this amount but find it very hard to fit anymore in.

Some snack foods I use are, peanuts, high calorie protein bars, fruits. From previous posts I found out that rasins are very dense in calories but I can't stand them.

Hope this helps.

I eat a lot of peanut butter on my bulking phases, its extremely high in calories. I usually just eat it plain but you can do something else to spice it up i suppose.

It does seem like alot, but I only eat clean foods, in fact I only eat natural foods. No processed foods in exception so come condiments and flavored tuna. It might seem a little extreme, however, I've gone from 165lbs to to 185 in less than 4 months, all lean mass. Ive always been athletic but stayed very lean beacuse of all the sports I was playing. My goal is to reach 200 pounds by this time next year, while keeping around a 12% BF and eventially win in a bodybuilding competition

I'm new here. Bio that shake looks promising. I think I'm going to give it a try. I have a hard time maintaining/gaining weight, because my metabolism is so high. I just had a baby & hoping to hold onto this weight without going back down to my prepreg weight. The time I gain weight is when I preg & afterwards it just melts off no excerise needed. I don't understand women that want to be sooooo thin,go figure there's no glory in it!

Anyway's thanks for the recipe!

Personally I like the following shake for calories and extra protein:

6 Raw eggs
4 ounces Heavy Cream
16 ounces Milk (2% or 1%)
2 scoops of Whey protein (chocolate)

Not only does this increase your calorie intake, but it helps replace a meal or two when you get behind. Calories are 1300+. Add peanut butter for better taste and even more calories. Can easily reach 2000+ cals.

Results? I started out last June at 135lbs. I reached 175 by October. Got lazy on military transfer to TN from FL. Started back up April this year at 145lbs. Current weight 188lbs.

How can you take the tase of Whey.It taste horrible,I've tried adding fruits, ice cream, etc to make it taste better but it just doesn't work.

So I gave up on it cause I couldn't take the taste.I know I wouldn't be able to do the egg drink.

They make stuff in pill form to lose weight. Why can't it be like that to gain weight.
