Hi~~~~
I'm 21 and 5'4, weigh 127.I've been working out for 28 weeks or so. I do weights(30 min) and cardio(30 min) on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays & only cardio on Tuesdays and Thursdays(60 min). The thing is I haven't lost any pound so far although I am getting firmer. I am kind of frustrated ~~~~~I really want to shed off some pounds and get rid the ugly fat thing around my stomach and upper arms. Anybody out there could help me out ~~~please~~~

Fill out your profile to give us a better idea of what you want to accomplish...if you have been working out for that long and you are frustrated as you are, you need to SERIOUSLY look at your diet and eating habits. Good luck!

Thanks for your message~~~~
I used to include lots of fruit in my diet. Recently I read somewhere on the web, which said eating too much fruit prevent fat loss~~so I cut down fruit intake since then.
" you need to SERIOUSLY look at your diet and eating habits..."

Gotcha Jenna0805! I know you are new here and you are full of questions. Look through some diets under the nutrition section (on the yellow bar at the top of the page), and also look at some posts under the 'diets' and 'nutrition' on the discussion board.

your workout routine sounds a lot like mine when I first started..now, i cut back on my cardio. What Jdelts is suggesting is a good one...check out the nutrition sections..they are quite informative.

Best of luck to you and your training!

jenna welcome to ft. Indeed you will have lots of questions we are sure. As jdelts said look real hard at your diet, as there are probably some areas that could be fine tuned. Also if you are feeling as if you are getting firmer, then you have probably lost inches thus suggesting things are working. Stay off the scales as muscle weights more than fat. Judge by how your cloths are fitting, or get a measuring tape or good calipers to measure. Fill out your profile. Might want to adjust your work out plan a little to. Change it up. Cut back on Cardo lift more, and give yourself time to rest.

Probably a good idea is to log everything you eat in a day or two and post it here. Sometimes you can get some ideas from others that will help!
