I've been lifting weights for about...7 days now.
How many repetitions and sets of what should I do to get the best results?
For me, I think the chest area (boobs) are the hardest part to get it trained.
Is Bench Press best for working out the chest area?
I weight 70~73 kg and I am 180cm...
Also, I don't know what to eat...but I have SOME love handles that I want to get rid of =/ not that I am obese =))
I read the forums, but without stickies, it's hard =//
Thanks to everyone for their replies!!

I'm looking to work out at least 5 times a week, an hour interval, and I wish to get the results as soon as possible because I'll be working as a lifeguard pretty soon =))
And since I'm a beginner, all the abbreviations are all new to me...
Also, my arm hurts!!!!!!!
I've been working for 7 days straight, about an hour interval, and have been swimming after working out...
Thanks in advance!!!

the chest area you are referring to is called pectorals, pecs.
Do not expect result sin 7 days, 2 weeks, or quick, it's not realistic. Good things take time.
I'd suggest getting on a mass building program here(free) and following it.
Pain is common, but do not over do it.
Good luck

Let's see here...Have you thought about a high intensity work out regiment. I am doing high intensity training, and I love it. I work out one area a day, but with each exercise I only do one set of my max. It involves high weight. Usually on my upper body I max out anywhere from 16-25 depending upon the exercise and the weight, and on my lower body I max out anywhere from 20-45 depending upon the weight and the exercise once again. It is a great work out for strength building

Regarding reps.. Do 3 or 4 reps of about 13. Take a 30 second breather between reps. Check out the free programs here and decide which area you'd like to focus on. Good luck!

Just clarifying, I believe DRIO meant to say 3 or 4 sets of about 13 (10-15 reps).

I'm a male by the way,
Also, I looked for the mass bulding program and it does different parts each day, but I'll only be able to work 2 or 3 of my body parts per day, with only 4 sets for part. (20 reps, 17, 16,15 like that)
Is that enough?

No one, yet, has mentioned that 7 days with no rest is probably too much. You should have some rest days in there somewhere. Muscles grow during the resting time, not the working time. Try taking a day off from lifting every 3 or 4 days.

This is the first time I looked at this post, and azredhead57, this is the first thing I would have inquired about too.
