Well, my mission is to lose about 17 lbs. I got my bodyfat measured, and even though my waist is only like 32", I apparently have 18.9% body fat. Maybe I just have big bones for my body, I do have a ridiculously large chest (wide in the sense if you are looking at me from the side) so maybe that helps keep me appearing "thin." I have been weight training since June and have added about 20 lbs to my frame. I had about the same amount of bodyfat then as I do now, but I plan to lose about 17 lbs to bring my overall weight to 127 lbs at 8% bodyfat, which is heavier than I started training and at less bodyfat, which means I have had a good several months. But alas, that's not my question. My question is this: I have calculated my daily calorie needs to be about 2500 calories or so, but I usually eat a LOT more than that. I was born a very skinny person (I looked like an AIDS patient, no joke.), and I kind of put on the weight from there. I have heard the theory that people have only so many fat cells etc etc, so maybe I don't gain more fat because I have used them all? just a thought.
