Hi all! I am new to the boards and quite excited to have found it! It looks like a great place here!
I am 18 years old and in college. I used to ride atleast 10 horses a day (i was a professional) and compete on the weekends; but now I am at school and don't have the time to devote to my horses.
Anyways- now that I am not riding as much I have started going to the gym. I have always been very weight and body conscious. I am 128 lbs now and would love to get down to about 120. (I am 5'5) I have mainly been concentrating on cardio- doing 30 minutes to an hour 6 days a week, but I think I need to incorporate some weight lifting in my schedule to get the weight loss.
I eat healthily. I generally eat a protein bar for breakfast, fruit for a snack, a salad for lunch, fruit for a snack, and either lean meat/veggies or a salad for dinner.
I would like to know if anyone has any tips as to how I can go about losing weight, toning up, and gaining overall fitness. Thank you so much ahead of time!

Cut down on your cardio to 20 minutes 4 days a week, and weight lifting at least 3 days a week. Also, it sounds like you are not eating enough, which will cause you to be unable to lose weight in a healthy way. Hope this helps.

I would suggest maybe checking out the weight loss and definition plan on this site. Follow it, eat right, and you will see the results you are after.
