I have to ask! Is there a way to decrease/eliminate the gas you get from protein shakes? Its almost not worth it! Its not so much the act itself, but the oder!

Maybe you are lactose intolerant?
What type of protein are you using?

If you are using whey (which you should be PWO) look for a Whey isolate. Anything that has whey concentrate in it could do it to you. I have a hard time with whey concentrate.

I am currently using the protein called "MAXIMUM PROTEIN" from GNC. It is a whey concentrate. Im using soy not because im lactose buT thats what ive always drank. Ive heard that using soy can contribute to the problem? Also drinking your shake without letting the air bubbles settle for 15 minutes before drinking?

Whey has plenty of lactose. Try changing brands. I found one that didn't cause me to clean out a room although that can come in handy sometimes. Try Beano and / or Lactaid. Either may help.
