Ok last night I came in from being outside almost all day working in the gardens, etc and my butt was sore..then I realized HOLY #**# I spent the day literally doing lunges and squats outside..I dont bend over anymore to weed,I squat down, using legs and butt to dig out plants etc..

You dont realize just how much muscle you use while doing something like gardening or mowing the lawn..

So while its nice out GET OUT THERE PEOPLE and move those muscles working around the yard...

It's 100 degrees here right now so we have to do yard work early in the morning.Wish I could stay out there all day though!Sometimes my booty hurts so bad after pulling weeds I can hardly sit on the toilet!!!Sometimes I have to hold myself up so I don't put to much pressure on those muscles!!
OK,OK...to much info I'm sure!
I've always wondered if I was actually working those muscles or just straining them though because the soreness is intense...what do you think?

Oh yes, IMO gardening is exercising and the fresh air is a wonderful bonus. It can be a nice change from the gym as long as it's not to hot outside:big_smile:

KC_72 you beat me to it, I posted at the same time. I think gardening deffinately works a lot of different muscles. It's like a whole body routine:)
