I just started working out for this semester at college about a week ago. Some quick info about me: 6'1 and 155lbs. I currently do the “Gain muscle mass" workout here at the site and the 12 week abs. My goal is to be more defined and have some muscle gain by the end of April for summer. I can't really bulk up to well due to my college meal plan and the small variety of healthy food. I don't have much fat on me, just enough for slight love handles and a small gut. I would say i get 1500+ calories a day and I take protein supplements. My diet is a lot better then it was where I’d eat anything and everything that was unhealthy because I could. I have been doing cardio in the morning, but was wondering if it will be affecting my overall muscle gain? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I hope I didn't ramble to much, simply put:
-Would like a gain in muscle
-Don't have much to work with
-I take protein
-Is cardio hurting my goal since I don't have much to lose anyways

Thanks.

cardio can affect ur muscle gains but you are trying to loose some weight so cardio is a must...maybe u can cut the cardio down to the days you dont lift

Go for HIIT as your main cardio. That'll speed up your metabolism. For muscle gain, keep the cardio to 3-4 times weekly only.
