when trying to lose fat, is fresh mature coconut a good snack (considering it fits within your calorie count). I read that 1 cup coconut has 283 calories , 2.7 grams of protein, 12.2 grams of carbohydrates, 7.2 grams fiber and 26.8g fat.
considering that its quite high in fat, is the 12g carb too much? or is it about right? - ie can it be considered 'low carb'?
would appreciate any advice!!

The fat content in coconut is outstanding. If you can fit it in your diet, good stuff.
