i noticed my program didn't mention forearms. what do i do for those or do the other arm workouts also target the forarms?

All the gripping and curling and such will help take care of your forearms.
If you are concerned about having your forearms grow, too, I'm sure there are plenty of folks on here who will gladly give you some tips and tricks for accomplishing it!

if you want to throw them in on arm day, do forearm curls using a bench, both ways (underhand grip and over hand grip), and/or behind the back forearm curls.

And not to forget the hammercurls..... Great stuff.
In between your sets (maybe on a leg day) take some very heavy dumbells in your hands and just walk around with them. It'll strengthen your grip as well. Good luck.
