It could also be that his focus is on his training and he's unable to focus on his sexual side. Maybe you can "encourage" him to take a training day off and spend it with just you.

Interesting...most of the bodybuilders I know have increased their sex drives during training. I guess it's all that testosterone flowing through.

i can only empathize with this for 2 reasons: i was never a bodybuilder; and when i was training for a competition, like what robert said, i was the exact opposite. that being said, i would assume that it may be due to the stage of his training cycles, i.e., dieting for a comp. assuming he is natural, it's safe to say that he is probably having several different bio-chemical changes (low blood sugar, decrease water intake, decreased fat intake) that could lead to a lower sex drive, as well as he may be just plain exhausted!

I agree with rpacheco. After lifting it does seem to increase the sex drive a little. Ok alot.

Yes.. I am surprised.. sex drive is usually through the roof during training.. the testosterone is flowing..self confidence increased.. just can't get enough! lol

Patient has been on my side, finally broke down and had a long talk with him seems he is from the old school of training and was waiting for the comp. to be over. Things are good now, thanks for all your help and dpking thank you too, you made me smile:)

That's good news Kramersbaby. In most cases, things like that are temporary.

Take care.
