Lunges, deadlifts, and squats. I know the feeling. I was skinny in high school and had no chest or butt until I started lifting. The forementioned excercises will develop, sculpture, and firm the buttocks very well.

One important tip is to do those exercises using the longest range of motion to develop extra strength and mass in the glutes..

Go DEEP and extend as far as you can while keeping good form.

I'll give it a try. Every exercise has a postive (lifting or pushing of the weight) and a negative (releasing or lowering the resistance). A lot of articles I've read lately have emphasized the negatives and considered them as important as the positive portions of the exercises. Mostly, researchers believe that you should take a count of 3-4 on the negatives (a bit longer than it would take for the positive). Other than that, you should breath with the positive and breath in with the negative. I can give u some more info if you want :-)

with seated dumbell curls for example...upon curling up the dumbell you'll have done the concentric part..bringing it back down slowly is the eccentric part which is equally important.
