Body for Life is a good book. Magazines are great for info. Web sites like ft are also great. Don't limit your resources. Wherever you can get information from is great. But also remember not everything you read is right. Do your research. You can get a lot of information from people on freetrainers. We have all gone through the same things such as goals and nutrition.

A great book and an invaluable resource that I have refrenced to so many times is a book called Strength Training Anatomy by Frederick Delevair. An extremely detailed book on all of the most popular exercises along with descriptions on how they should be performed. The drawings are awesome and EXTREMELY detailed. A very smart investment.

I actually just got done reading "Fitness is Religion...Keep the Faith" by Ray Kybartas. It is really just a general overview of fitness, workouts and dietary habits. However, I found it to be really inspiring. It further cemented my desire to stay on this road to fitness for the rest of my life and not search for just a short term remedy.

Pick up a copy of Muscle and Fitness magazine at Walmart. In fact, get it monthly. Once you have about 12, though, they cycle and begin repeating themselves. Also, ignore the stuff about how all the monsters therein are drug-free. It's bullsh*t, of course.
