Wow is all I can say, I did it for twenty-five minutes on a tredemele and man, even after running four miles and what not my shirt has never been this puddled :). I only burned about 215 calories but from my experience calories has never meant anything, so I'm pretty impressed and I'm going to do HIIT on my days off from lifting now.

Yes HIIT is very useful and you don't have to spend ages as with slow endurance training (even thou it can be good to vary once in a while).

well done!
remember, the calorie count only tells you a rough estimate of the cals you burned during the exercise, and with HIIT you go on burning extra cals for hours after you've finished - BONUS!

Thanks :). It's some tough stuff, it's fun though.. just flat out running is ... "boring" and dull, and I can't help but look down at the time and think "Oh my god it's only been two minutes?" :laugh:

I joined FT 3 weeks ago and incorporated HIIT in my training after my 1st week I do HIIT every Wednesday and Sunday for 25 mins on the Eliptical Trainer and than do a cool down on the bike for 15 mins I must say it is sure helpnig me lose my unwanted fat.
