Well, today was the first day in a couple of months that I did some serious cardio. I finally got my bike back out on the trails. Thank God that the temp was finally below 90 on a day I didn't have to work.
I would say for me, mountain biking is the best form of cardio. It works several muscles, you get clean air, and your view changes quite a bit. Plus, in comparison to street riding, you get some obstacles in your way. Roots and Rocks and holes in the ground. Keeps you constantly aware of your surroundings and keeps your brain working. Its about the only exercise I can do without music.

I love this site. Everyone here gives such great advice. Thank you all.
And I hope this gives someone else an idea for a change in there cardio. Nothing like having fun while you work out.

When I first saw this post, I was going to immediately write, you mean there is a favorite cardio exercise?? LOL..But after reading it, I agree, I my mountain biking and hiking. I can go on and on with these. The gym cardio, like treadmill, stepper, etc. I do when I HAVE to for contest prep. It is so very boring. 5 minutes seems like 5 hours!!!
