I did a speach in public speaking one time about healthy leaving the benifits and such.........which most on this site know. So I won't go into all that mess. But I did use a visual aid that peopel liked, and thier mouth droped when I showed them.
I'm typing this, cause people seem to think that to be a healthy girl you ned to be as close to 100lbs as possible, and guys have to be 180lbs to 200 lbs of solid muscle with a 6 pack. It concerens me when peopel wanan loose alot of weight quick and fast. That they don't care about losing muscle, its all about being "thin". You can be unhelthy as a person 100lbs over wegiht just as you can be 50lbs under weight. So heres somthing to think about when dieting.
1st off go to the bathroom and get a jumbo roll of tollet papper and a small bar of soap........i'll wait.......Now set them side by side. And look at them....
That jumbo roll of tolet paper is abotu the size(mass wise) of 5 lbs of ungly fat, give or take a few. The bar of soad is about 5lbs of muscle ( give or take).
Big differance huh? just think what your hips would look like if you lost a roll of tollet paper from there? IF you like a visual, everytime you lose 5lbs put a roll of tolet paper next to the scale.
The thing is people seem to want to drop 20 and 30lbs quick and fast, when if you look at the ratio of size, 5lbs or 10lbs lost, would drastly make you look different throught your body. I used to have a 48 in waist, i can put my old belt on and put several rolls of tolet paper aroudn that belt to fill it out.......but the funny thing is........i'm only 25lbs lighterat being back at my old body weight when I had the 48 in waist.......I'm about 255 now? Differance is the soap( muscle) don't take up near the space as the tollet paper.......next time you think abotu droping alot of weight, go get some tollet paper lol......and see how much weight your really think you "need" to lose......:love::dumbbell::dumbbell::love:

Thanks, bigandrew, I know that analogy helped me, especially since it does get very frustrating, I believe, for most people to only lose 5 pounds after a few weeks of working out (me!), but you made me feel better about the way I am doing it (slowly but surely) and that I am not quitting after being frustrated at the slow crawl. Isn't that something, you lost 25 pounds but it must seem like double that! Thank you, I always enjoy your way of motivating and sharing your knowledge!
