Everytime I post a message i always get "eat healhty and do cardio" and you don't need it. Well all I want to know is do they actually accelerate or help fat loss when taken with healthy diet and cardio? I just want a straight answer.

They are pretty potent, so check them thoroughly before you begin. You should fill out your profile so that the folks have a better basis to answer your questions on.

Also, there is an endless choice when it comes to fat burners. And, depending on which country you live in, that may determine how effective they are.

Always read the label before you try anything!! If you have high blood pressure or heart problems, I'd probably steer clear of the fat burners with ma huang (read: ephedrine). If not, Xenadrine & Hydroxycut are the two most popular on the market and they work very well.

I wouldn't advise buying the 'no-name' stuff from really fat guy in the little booths in the mall. ;)

I heard it works well, but most of the people I know take either hydroxycut or xenadrine. It also depends on your body and exercise level. I have tried a lot of products that worked for other people and no significant results until hydroxycut, so experience, but do your research first.

You can get the hydroxycut and xenadrine without the ephedra. I started off with that because they won't sell them on Marine Corps Bases. I did go to the Air Force base to get the stuff with ephedra.

www.beefcakenutrition.com/xenefxbycytt.html
www.nutripro.com

I can't find anything for hydroxycut ephedra free but I will try to find out where are GNC gets it.

Hydroxycuts and Xenadrine are fine, but when it comes to "thermogenics", which these two products strictly are, a good thermogenic is a good thermogenic. By that I mean, most thermogenics rely on the classic (and clinically proven) 20/200 formula of ephedrine/caffeine. Provided that you buy from a reputable company, any fat burner with these basic ratios will get the job done. All the other ingredients added in are just "window dressing." The 20/200 is where the real action is when it comes to thermogenesis. Bear in mind that thermogenics or conventional "fat burners" will work for the majority of people who use them. However, if you have other issues (e.g., insulin-resistance, underactive thyroid), then these thermogenics may be of little use. Which is why some people claim they don't work.
Good luck.

I was looking at getting Xenadrine. Should I go with the ephedrine free? I don't have any medical problems, but was wondering if the ephedrine free product is just as good as the Xenadrine with ephedrine?

That would be personal preference... I used the Xen-RFA, the one with Ephedra. I haven't tried the Ephedra free one. I had good results with the Original Xen, so I don't really think I will be trying the new one.

A buddy of mine took xenadrine without ephedra and had great results. I think I get better results with ephedra but I also take hydroxycut. You just have to experiment with the different stuff. Everyones chemical balance is different, although without ephedra is a little safer especially if you are heavy in cardio. When I plan on having a heavy cardio (running outside in Okinawa 80 degrees with 90% humudity, I don't take ephedra products). You just need to be careful until you know how your body reacts to a new product.
