ok, finally back to working out..upper body free weights and cardio-- riding a real bike about 6 miles twice a week.
I am on week 1..and I can barely raise my arms today..oh the pain...did a epsom salt soak last night...COULD USE SUGGESTIONS to help me overcome this extreme sorness soon or this much workout may be placed on the backburner right now!!!

You may have over done it. Or you may just need to stretch before and after your workout. Are you using any sort of supplements? Protein perhaps. Muscle soreness is bound to happen when just starting back. Some believe its a good thing. Just some suggestions Good luck

Drink a lot of water hot baths and make sure you try to move the body parts as much as you can this helps trust me! Also advil and aleve works to help tak the pain....

azredhead57 I love that feeling of bein gvery sore also. You are not sick. You know what a really good workout feels like. I also love that feeling

I chews up a couple of Zmax pills...hope this help..and if you like this kind of pain..you need your head examined..*lol*......I did do my workout yesterday wven thru the pain..today is acutally a Little better..but no much...thnx for the adil tips, I am also taking motrin

try going for a light jog after ur work outs then stretch .. the extra blood flow will help move lactic acid out of ur muscles. that what my old streght coach said
