Question for all of you, though im real new at the exercise and watching my food intake, im also wondering about what some of you might do to strengthen your inner spirit ? Ive seen other people making fun of yoga in some posts, but id like to hear some input about tai-chi, and other mind and soul conditioning. Im serious about getting in shape for the 1st time in my life and would like to change ALL aspects of life, not just the physical..

Dude, Yoga and other things of that sort are awesome. They teach you to breath properly and use your strength to the fullest through solid but smooth movements. All the strength in the world wont help you if you cant harness it.

Sorry to give you the wrong impression Bill...we weren't poking fun at yoga....someone had posted "try yoga" to every question asked...from how to trim abs to how to add bulk about 7 times...it was a bad day.So please,please don't think we were insulting yoga.I believe having a healthy mind and spirit is crucial to keeping a healthy body.

And jeramie...."all the strength in the world won't help if you can't harness it"....were you reffering to maintaining healthy mind and spirit??Because this is so true...not to difficult to find...VERY difficult to maintain.very nice...young grasshopper.(I stole that from somebody on here):)
