It's been six months since the birth of my doughter and my wife is afraid to do any serious exercises since she has had a cesarean .
Although she is not fat, she needs to work on her tummy(you know how it is).
Her doctor had given her some very light movement exercises to perform for three months but there were no changes in the her looks.
Can she do serious exercises now, if so what type of exercises.
Moms, Ladies, anybody with experience please HELP!!!!!! I want my wife to look as beatiful as she was before.

6 months after giving birth is normally enough time to recover. Now what does she really wants herself? If she's serious then yes she can start a whole body work out (and get great results) but if she's still afraid (or too busy (or tired?) with the baby) then why not go and see a doctor again? The best thing is to get her a personal trainer just to get started (and then she'll know that she'll be taken care off!)
Good luck to both of you!

She wants to look good too..Who wouldn't want. Thanks for the advise.
There is one more question I would like to ask. Do you have a kid? If so how long dose it take for the marks and the wrinkles to diserpear?
The cream that doctor prescribed dose not totaly work and she is trying a nother now but dosent show a significant change.
Thanks agin.

Talking about stretch marks? Well they WONT disappear........ Once you got them you have to live with them. Now what you can do is survey your diet (get all the needed vitamin and minarals), eat good essential fat (like fish oil), drink a lot of water and of course put some cream on (with massage) twice a day.
AND get a tan.......... ;o)

Hi-
I noticed you were talking about stretch marks after having a baby... My daughter just turned 15 months and I started with a personal trainer a month ago, the results are amazing I did a few stretch marks up to my bikini line and they have faded so much even I'm like WOW
It's great your wife is getting involved so soon, I did when my daughter was around 4 months but still had motivational problems, just keep up the good support. Nicole
I as well highly recomend a personal trainer

Hi Nicole,
Thank you very much for your advice. I have sent you a mail to your personal mail box regarding the programe you are doing. Please answer if it is possible.

Thanks once again.

exercising doesn't effect breast feeding, but supplements do, make sure she consults a doctor before taking anything at all in regards to breast feeding. sounds like she is on the right track!! good luck and by the way Beautiful baby there!

It's often recommended to breastfeed right before working out because if she nurses after working out there may be some lactic acid in the breast milk and it may not taste too good to the baby. I always made sure to get in my exercise 1 1/2 to 2 hours before a feeding.
Congrats on your baby and to your wife for continuing to nurse! It can be draining (no pun intended) sometimes:)

Such a cute baby. She has had enough recovery time. But if she is really concerned, she could ask her doctor. See might want to start off a little slow at the beginning, since it has been a while since her body has done anything stressful. She can always build off that.
