Hey Shellyjane,

Sorry to be blunt but.... but start checkin' on what you're eating. You can do the ab workout, you'll have strong stomach muscles but you're not going to see those fantastic abs until you loose that fat that layers above it and get good results. Nutrition is a big part of it. Start researching what you're eating on the net, read fitness magazines, etc. Get informed!

Good luck!

Everything goes together; work out, rest and diet.......
You'll need it all to be able to succeed.
Think about eating for your body and not for your mind.
Good luck!

Sweetie, you don't need access to a gym to do cardio. I work out from home everyday. i bought a few videos to help me out. Running is free and at this time of year it is beautiful to be outside. Rollerblading, bike riding, soccer all are types of cardio, just need to get out there and have a good time, don't consider it a workout. But remember all needs to be done for at least 20 min to get into to fat burning stage, 45 min can get you into aerobic workout. check your heart rate while playing, that is a great way to know if you are getting your heart rate up.

As for the food your consuming, trying taking your lunch to school, i relaize that it may not be cool, but it is better than eating some of the choices at school. This way you have a better idea of what you are eating, rathing relying on the school food and not certain what you are getting.
