I am considering the Eat to live diet. I was just wondering if anyone has tried it and had good results. The idea of the diet is to make animal products more of a side dish and fill up to bursting with raw veggies, steamed veggies and whole grains. Any advice or input would be great. I am female 5'8",167lbs,I excercise 5 days a week alternating upper body and lower body for 30 mins. ea day and circut train with cardio for 1 hr using the elliptical, treadmill, bike and stair stepper. I have been excercising for about 8 wks and lost no inches and gained 2 lbs. Any input would be much appreciated.
Have a look at the nutrition profile on this site and see what you daily caloric intake should be, broken down into carbs, protien and fat. Also check out the grocery list for healthy eating in the nutrition forum. I am not familiar with the Eat to Live diet, but it sounds like they are advocating a healthy eating system. I just found it very useful to determine my C/P/F needs based on my active lifestyle. More often than not, people here find they are under their caloric needs-not over-and just need to adjust their C/P/F mix.
Hope this helps a bit. If you peruse the site a bit, u will find lot's of great info here!!
