hi i was wondering if it is possible to get fit with just using dumbells and not machines along with cardio of course! i use machines but im not a big fan! thanks...

Sure, if you have the appropriate weight dumbbells for all your exercises, you can get in great shape. A dumbbell exercise can be substituted for most any machine.

db's are the way to go to pack on the size and strength. Machines should be used later on down the road to help isolate and to target those certain musclegroups, the weak points.

excuse me, how much should i aim to lift with dumbells? i currently lift 14kg... im 14 yrs old so i dont wanna overdo it. plz help

Dumbbells will give you a great workout. Dumbbells are optimal for sports training because they train your small stabilizer muscles better than any other medium and you can use them to mimic certain motions. They are not great, however, for developing maximal strength since it's tougher to get dumbbells that heavy into position and because you must train with less weight.
