Hi everyone ~ I have a question about a dumbbell exercise? To work my waist I stand straight feet shoulder length apart hands at my sides and bend to the side from my waist to the left then the right. (I am sorry I don't know the name of this exercise).
My question is I was thinking of holding my dumbells (at a weight I am comfortable with) and do this same exercise. Will it be helpful to work out my sides? Thanks in Advance
Well yes and no. Yes because you'll give your obliques a great work out and no because I advice you never really to take any weights when working your waist (especially because you're female -it can thicken your waist!).
What about simple twisting?
