i was thinking, if with a relativley high body fat(25%) biceps or some muscles are visible if they are large enoguh and u do see that they are there. now doin crunches after a while will stop adding more muscle. wouldnt doin wieghted crunches allow for larger ab muscles and easier visual of them??? dont know just throwin out ideas

Using weight will build your abs and make them larger and more defined. You can do:weighted crunches ,weighted leglifts, cable crunches and many other variations. Is this what you're asking?

Weighted crunches will add muscle but man, it ain't gonna show if you have high bodyfat. You'll actually be quite dissapointed in fact when looking in the mirror because it's going to make you.. well: look "fatter" than before. Muscle pushes fat if the fats still there. If you want eye-candy, simply focus your energy on dieting and let the riptitude begin.

Do your ab work with resistance. This is what will build the ab muscle to give you that 6 pack you want. But, as ageis says, if you do not trim bodyfat, you will actually look fatter, as the new muscle will push the fat out even farther.
