You are already in a catabolic state if you trained hard, and you need to recover from it immediately. If you do cardio immediately, you let cortisol run rampant. Cortisol literally converts muscle tissue to proteins for conversion into glucose. This is your body’s way of producing energy when any available energy (glucose) and stored forms (glycogen) of energy have been expended(from weightlifting as you have done). To compensate for this depletion of energy your body will go into a process called gluconeogenesis to produce glucose from amino acids in the liver. The end result of this process will be the very hard earned muscle you just worked to try to build, and quite possibly (most probably) lean tissue you already have used as energy, and all potential gains becoming nonexistant at best, and maybe even losing some muscle.

OK...I'm now confused. The exercise program on this site is structured so that you do your cardio right after your workout. One of the cardio exercises is jogging. Is jogging ok to do as a cardio exercise after your workout? And is it the same for riding a bike?
