Ok for the past two weeks I have been having terrible dizzy spells. I used to have them a lot a year or so ago, but I attributed them to the fact that I was on Metablife at that time (pretty heavily I might add) But I have not been taking any diet pills of any sort for well over 2 months. I drink a lot of water and I think I eat plenty through out the day. They don't come on at any certain times, there is no pattern to when they strike. I can be sitting at my desk at work, or walking down the hall or when I am exercising. I did notice last night while doing Pilates that when I had to lay back I thought I was going to pass out, it was a bad one. Any thoughts?? or Suggestions?

Is your diet sufficient in iron and what vitas are you taking? If I were you I would see a doctor. Good luck

See a doctor. It may be low blood pressure, or other contradiction.
Wish you well.

Could be many different things, possibly your equilibrium may be off, regardless, as bowers & Ivan stated, you should have a Dr. check you out. Good luck.

DEFINITELY see the doctor. I have Meniere's Syndrome, that is a severe inner ear problem and it causes dizziness that is very severe!!! I have had this since I was 16 years old and I am 56 today!!! I no longer have the severe bouts with it but when I did they put me on medication that really helped. See a doctor. It could be low blood pressure or low blood sugar too.

Ditto----see your doc. I have low blood pressure and get dehydrated easily. Both of those things have some of your symptoms.

hehehe ... If I was feeling like I was passed out all the time I wouldn't care if it was the last place I like to go. I'd go. ;) Are you pregnant? Any chances of that and you should be really careful if you're working out.

absolutely no way I could be pregnant, unless it was an act of God :) ...this is an update..don't know if one has anything to do with the other, but I am an admitted sugar-caholic, and when I was having these spells I had cut sugar totally out of my diet, well we all know with Halloween just around the corner there is candy everywhere, and I have fell of the ban the sugar wagon, and I have not had a spell for a week or so..of course I hate myself for caving to that craving, but I am on my way back to cutting it out again. We shall see what happens :) Darned sugar anyway! thanks all :) AGH!!
