WOW
last week at this time I couldn't do 1 dip, then after a week of working out my entire body I go back to the dip station today and to a huge surprise I could now do 3 DIPS!!!!!
Im so excited and shocked that i went from none to 3 in a week
all the advice paid off my body is getting used to these exercises and im so motivated now it's unbelievable!
thanks everyone for your help you all kick ass!
now ill see how i improved on my wide grip chins on monday to see if that also will go up

nice job. during highschool, my brother was always a big guy and dips were very hard for him, at first he could only do about 2, but after a few months pf wprking oin it, he could do sets of 10. keep at it. good luck.

I go as low as I can for 4 sets of 12 and more

Congrats! I cant even get one dip so I have been trying to just do the negative portion of them. - Mike:dumbbell:

I do about 3 sets of ten and I take it way low; try to get my shoulders to almost touch my hands. It gives a better stretch and contraction through the full ROM.

I try and keep my tri's parralel to the ground and hold for 3 secs.

I usually make dips the last of the tricep exercises. Wonderful burn. I do them the same as carivan but only for a second or 2.
