I have been doing cardio to get my body fat down and it is decreasing but still have some problem areas around my waiste. My body fat is very comparable to people with real flat stomachs and I can see my upper abs(like a 4pack) but I want to know if it is lose skin on my waiste line or fat so I am not wasting my time with a fatloss program? Are there any ways to distinguish between fat and lose skin????????????????????

Well loose skin you can normally grap easily and it'll not "jump" back when you let it go..... When squeezing fat it often looks like some sort of nimbles and you cannot "tear it out" easily.
Now, did you understand anything of this one?!!! (-;
Sorry, can't explain that one better......

Philia, what do you mean when you say it will look like some sort of nimbles? I can pull it easily but it goes back to place, so what does that mean?

I think what Nina meant was that loose skin doesn't go back into place that quickly and is sort of "thinner" than skin that has a layer of fat underneath. From your description, I think you have more fat than loose skin...

Hello! I seem to have this same problem. I weighed around 230 lbs and lost 80 lbs i am now 5'10'' 150-155 lbs. Compared to my friends who have fat my stomach does not snap back AS fast but still goes back. I am still trying to figure out the best way to get rid of it. I didn't run to lose weight i lifted weights, only recently have i begun running in hopes it may help in the effort while getting me in shape. One thing i did pick up is Nivea Skin Firming Lotion with Coenzyme Q10
