I've got this denim skirt that I love that is sitting in the basement of my house, right beside the sexy black boots that it looks so good with. Neither fit. Last time I tried, I couldn't get the skirt past my hips and the zipper on the boots only do up with the help of my wonderful husband.
I'd like to put that stuff on for his birthday in July. I don't think I'll make it, but I'm sure I'll be able to get the skirt over my hips by then and might be able to get the boots on without plyers and husband!
I've set some short term goals, some mid term goals (including winning the bf% challenge so look out!) and one big long term goal - my final goal.
I'm posting this because I've noticed alot of new people here lately. I'm new too, but I've found the "a-ha" as I call it. That moment when going to the gym is part of my day and I feel kinda bad when I don't do it. I've made the decision to get fit, and I am so proud of myself each time I have to wipe the sweat off my face while doing HIIT, each time I feel like I can't lift another rep, but do and each time I check in at the front desk of the gym.
This has become my way of life. I know there will be days when I don't want to work out and only want to eat chocolate (mmmmmm chocolate). I think I'll just keep coming back to this board for the inspiration. This place is great. The people here are diverse, funny, knowledgable and care about our success.
Thanks everyone. Keep lifting.

Hey, Hey prairie girl, your awesome and you will succeed! You have a wonderful mindset and know that there will be some days you may fall short of your goals, but you can just pick it up again! There will be days where you far exceed them, too! I am rooting for you and that outfit and know that you certainly have the gun-ho to do it! :dumbbell:
