Is l-arginine dangerous? I have heard it's a decent supplement, but also heard poorly made versions can lead to the formation of free radicals and such. In addition, Ive heard you can overdose. Any comments on this? What is a gool amount to take to avoid ODing and how do I know if the brand is well made?

No one knows? Does anyone maybe have some suggestions on a reliable place to find the answer?

L arginine or some form of it has been used for years in any 'blood flow' circumstances, thus its use for the 'pump'. Also the base as you might guess for many male 'problem' areas(erection).

One note of concern is if you are prone the herpes virus, do not use arginine at this time if you have an outbreak(cold sore). Instead bone up on Lysine.

Thanks, BB1.

You say people use it for the pump. In what regards? Does it prolong the pump or something? (If not, out of curiosity, does anything?)

Also, aside from the Herpes infection, Im guessing its OK to take? Th reason I ask is because they have supplements ranging from 50mg to 2000. Big scale there, so I'm unsure if too much is retro-productive.
