Here's my remark for the same question from an FT member from a few days ago:

Stick with the basic creatine powder. it's the cheapest and truly the only one that has been shown to work. effervescent works, but no better than regular powder, therefore it doesnt justify the cost. "serum" creatines are a waste. speaking strictly from a chemistry stand-point, what those companies offer is imposible with the compounds that they use (i've seen the lab assays). for the best regular creatine powder, stick with the one from germany, Creapure creatine. its the cleanest and most analyzed one on the market. it never made my stomach upset, and i saw the best results with it. as far as i know, only 4 companies use it: universal, prolab, kaizen, and optimum... good luck.

I think it is, at least thru Universal. Even though they're based in the U.S., I know that they have several international outlets. I don't know about the other companies.
I don't have the international office's info, but I do have a contact here in the U.S. His name is Alex Errico, and I'm sure he can give you the info you need for Austrailia. His ph. # is 1-800-872-0101, ext. 204. His email is alex@universalnutrition.com. Tell him Michael from Las Vegas referred you.
Good Luck...

When buying Creatine there are 2 main rules; Buy powder - as it's FAR cheaper and the only one that really works; Look for the Creapure logo. I'd recommend Prolab, as it displays the Creapure logo BUT also is made in the SKW Laboratories in Germany or Austria, that make the purest Creatine in the world.

As for doseage you need to take 5g twice daily even when NOT training. Take 5g when you get up and 5g after your workout. For the first week however take 5g 4 times daily spread equally throughout the day, this is classed as a loading phase. Then after 4-6weeks take a week off and then load up again.

When taking Creatine make sure that you drink LOADS of water or you won't see as many benefits from it. Can I ask why you taking Creatine and what you hope to gain from it? As many people I know take it because it's a good idea without actually knowing what it really does!

Thanx animal.I heard that during the loading phase u should take it 5gms 4 times a day for 3 days and then comes the maintenance phase for the later period. Then after doing this for 2 months take a gap and again start off.Is it correct.

That's right archan. This is called "cycling." After about 8 weeks of use, take about a 2 week gap, then begin loading again.

Good luck...
