When yall do reps with dumbells, such as dumbell bench presses, when you go to record it, do you write the amount of weight on one or both of the dumbells combined?

I usually do the weight of one... I don't think it really matters as long as you are consistent.... by that I mean, don't do the weight of one today, the the weight combined the next time... it would throw the data outta wack...

Thanks yall, i've been recording the weight on one arm, but i just wanted to see if that was normal or whatever, but like TimDay said, i guess it doesn't matter as long as it is consistnet.
