I haven't done abs for months.
Actually, I don't think I've done abs since last year. I think I stopped doing them when I did my back in, and I never got round to starting them again.
I am struggling to think of a good reason to start doing them again, as someone who doesn't intend to ever get so cut as to show my abs. Any suggestions?
Also, until today, I haven't had PWO shake for months (although I am sipping on one as I type)
Sorry.

hmm. confession time? Count me in.
I haven't been online in months, and haven't been to the gym more than once a week since Christmas. Definitely not enough to maintain my muscles, and I've barely been eating at all.
Except for chocolate.. lots of chocolate, oh, and while I've practically stopped drinking alcohol, I've started smoking more cigarettes.
Funny things stress will do to you..
But back to you (by the way, hello again it's been a long time) and reasons to do abs:
Strength.. keeping your core strong prevents injury to the rest of your body, your, ahem.. back especially! Remember, it's not about LOOKING good it's about FEELING good and being HEALTHY :dumbbell::):dumbbell:

Ditto everything Dani said.
-------------- I was 17 years old the first time my father told me he loved me.

Hey Princess I hear you, suspect we all have our challenges......
Confront your abs, as dani said it's central to practically everythin in your posture and if you don't throw yourself into it, ease in by doing the less strenuous leg raises and hanging leg raises.
Get back up & whats with the smokes?

Abdominal strength is important for low back support and balance.

You give me a couple of good reasons to do abs, and my back pain kicks in again. Okay, I'll not wait months to start next time. Once th pain is gone, I'll get giong again.
Thanks anyway, and welcome back Dani :)
